It's too warm outside. The internet says it's 48 degrees — that's 9 degrees to all you sensible people on the metric system — but it feels warmer to me. Call me old fashioned, but I like to wear a heavy winter coat around January-time. It's a bit of a tradition.
Christmas was okay. I visited with family near and far. I hung out with my niece Eden a bit. She is very small yet and can't speak a lick of English. People gave me some nice things too, which was nice of them. I now have a new messenger bag that I'm taking to rather quickly. It is a bit brighter than the colors I usually go for myself, but it turns out I could use a little brightening up. I was also gifted some filters for my 52mm lens (an 81B and a 4X neutral density, both B + W), Banksy's Wall and Piece (which is great, by the way), some video games, the old BBC Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy television series on DVD, and a very sharp pairing knife. Nice stuff, the lot of it.
With the proper holidays through, the new year is coming around the bend at a clip. Much like you, I have been considering my life and resolving to make resolutions I'm not likely to keep. This too is a bit of a tradition. I won't bore you with mine and I do hope you'll return the favor. Have a great new year and be safe.
