I Would not Answer the Seer with a Taunt

Great words of prideful men are ever punished with great blows, and, in old age, teach the chastened to be wise.

So, last I saw her, she was reading Antigone for the second time. I figured I'd give it a read to see where she was coming from with all this ancient greek literature and what have you. How had I not discovered Sophocles before now? If you haven't read it, stop reading this and go read the play instead. It's better and I'm totally going to ruin the ending for you.

Haemon comes to release Antigone from the tomb in which Creon has walled her up to die, only to find she has hung herself with a makeshift rope, and then does himself in with his own sword! It's fantastic. I got all misty-eyed and everything. I am starting some drawings on the subject tomorrow.
