I posted a few new pics. They're not so grand. I am dipping my toe into the shallow end of so-called Street Photography. It's not going too well. There are a couple more photos in progress that show some promise, but they're not of people. People are difficult for me. A zoomier lens may be in order. This would let me get right up in their faces without physically getting right up in their faces. A 72mm is probably a good idea as well. Humans tend to move around a bit, and I am a low-light kind of guy.
I've been converting my color images to black and white because I feel black and white and lately. I think I am going to start shooting exclusively in b&w mode until a certain goal of mine is met. The exact nature of this goal will remain my own little secret until the time comes. I kind of like shooting in b&w mode better than converting color images after the fact — even if the latter method comes highly recommended. Shooting in b&w mode is a commitment.
