It's Only 9:30 PM

I knocked-off work early today, calling it quits around 3:30 or 4, then I sat around "relaxing" for a couple of hours. I don't care for relaxing; it makes me tense. After I got sick of all that relaxing I watched most of Bullitt. You'd think it would be an awesome movie. It's got Steve McQueen in it, and he's about as cool as it gets. OK, he's not Yul Brynner cool, but who is? The movie even boasts some famous groundbreaking chase scenes. Zoom, zoom! Unfortunately, director Peter Yates takes high-intensity suspense to the very breaking point and then goes right ahead and breaks it. I eventually ceased to care if Bullitt (played by McQueen) catches the bad guy or not. It's just not that interesting after awhile. I turned it off around the point where Bullitt had chased the bad guy off the plane, across the tarmac, and into the terminal. I saw O.J. Simpson's low-speed chase live on TV and that was enough for me. Now I'm officially so bored that I'm going to bed at 9:30 PM.
