Soggy Laces

So, I was going to watch that video on CNN.com about disembodied human feet washing ashore in Vancouver. I didn't necessarily want to watch the video, per se. I simply wanted to know the story behind all these feet that they're finding on Canadian beaches. Frankly, I'd rather read the article myself than have a talking head read it to me as if I were a child.

A video was what they were offering, so I clicked on the linkie for video. Lo and behold, there's a commercial featuring William Shatner, or some suitably Shatneresque fellow, expounding on the virtues of something or another. I gather the news story follows the commercial. I didn't stick around to find out.

Here's the deal. I understand CNN has to a make buck. But I'm not watching the commercials. As I said, I didn't even want to see the video. I just wanted to find out about the unchaperoned feet.

It all worked out in the end. BBC filled me in on details.

They're wearing sneakers. Ew.
