I've been roughed up and run down since I had simultaneous flu and COVID shots last Friday. Yesterday, things were bad enough that I called out of work, sleeping off and on throughout the day, which is remarkable because I've been consuming vast quantities of cold brew to offset the fatigue. The problem with drinking gallons of strong coffee to combat enervation is it gives me headaches while also making me anxious and irritable. And the acid reflux. It burns. In between dozing, I played on my computer, working to get my Plex media server to stream movies because I want to watch Lexx on my iPad while I fall asleep nights.1 I love Lexx in all its expansive and unabashed weirdness. I have things working mostly as expected now, but my eyes are killing me. I'm headed uptown tomorrow morning to buy new glasses to go with my new $800 per month eye drops.2
