Bountiful Abounding, Relatively Speaking

Last week was one of great abundance for me. I sold seven shares of CART for a total profit of $35. Not to brag, but I'm pretty much a tycoon now, which is fortunate, because dental implants are expensive. My recent tooth extraction is healing well, and I should be back to eating pistachios and potato chips come Wednesday. Then I guess the dentist screws a bolt into my jaw and I'm back on the hummus while that heals. Not sure, yet.

A doctor person put me on doxycycline and fluticasone for the lingering sinus infection. The drugs are working extremely well, although the antibiotics make me ravenous. Only moments ago I ate two heaping tablespoons of cold queso out of a plastic tub. I would have eaten three spoonfuls if another scoop were for the taking.

The sofa and dresser I ordered months ago finally arrived. They're pretty nice for being reasonably priced. Certainly far superior to the threadbare and weathered Ikea stuff I'd been using for the last 10 years. No assembly required. I'm dedicating much of today to balancing the Feng Shui and some light dusting.

I even have some brand new used CDs the mailman gave me to listen to while I work: a couple of Morphine albums, a Meat Beat Manifesto Peel Session, and the Stranglers. The kids downstairs said they haven't heard my stereo at all since I got it, but will text if that changes. I'll be pushing the envelope to see how loud I can reasonably go without annoying anyone.

And I got a spice rack. It's awesome. It spins!
