Where Has the Time Gone This Time?
I'm over my contract at work. Some technicality says I'm not allowed to work more than 20 hours a week now. My cubicle in the glass tower has been surrendered to EBI staff. Now I'm working from home while we wind things down. It's not ideal for my employer, but there isn't much to be done about it.
For the last few weeks I've taken advantage of my extra free time to do not much of anything. I honestly couldn't tell you what I've done with all that time. It simply disappeared into the temporal ether. Laziness is a dangerous habit to entertain. I'll be instituting more structure into my life next week, even though it will be essentially arbitrary structure for structure's sake.
Despite my sudden bout with laziness, I have managed to once more ramp up my job search. There's a great deal of good to be said about that, but now is not the time. Seriously, there was an entire paragraph here that I deleted. All of it was good. But now is not the time. Soon, though. Soon.
